Oct 26 Update:     Big news, SLO — we’re getting our own kitchen!
After 115+ Monday Night Takeouts, two years of rooftop dinners at Hotel SLO, and countless pop-ups, we’re finally building a home for Sichuan Kitchen SLO.
We aren't planning to do a regular restaurant, but more of a food and culture hub - a place for classes, pop-ups, and dinner parties where food meets story. We'd like to have the space open to other chefs, auntis, grandma's or anyone who has tasty food and a story to share.
We will keep you updated as we move forward.

We’ll be pausing Monday Takeout and Tuesdays at the High Bar while we move in, but we will still be at the Thursday Farmers Market.

Thank you, SLO, for helping us grow from a pop-up booth to a space of our own. We can’t wait to cook for you soon.

 Mondays

We are currently relocating our kitchen so Monday Takeout is on hiatus until mid-November.
Normally...
​Every Monday we do a Takeout Buffet from our kitchen at 2078 Parket Street. From 5-8pm Chef Garrett will cook up a variety of seasonal dishes and Sichuan favorites to fill out a self-serve buffet. Take what you want, pay what you want! 
Monday Night Takeout

Classes

We offer hands on Dumpling, Noodle, Bao, Chili Oil, homestyle Sichuan dishes, and specialty cooking classes. We are reformulating our classes for our new space, but we will post our class calendar soon! 

Popups

We do popups at different venues in SLO County. We are most known for our noodle and wontons, but we like to change it up too! Follow us on Instagram/ Facebook or check out our calendar for the current schedule.

We provide sichuan dinner parties with an educational presentation to teach you more about this famous cuisine. Cooking classes are also available.  Find out more here!​

FARMED FRESH

Centerpiece to any place's homestyle cooking is fresh, quality ingredients. We believe that local, organic produce is not only best for cooking but imperative for one's health too. It is an honor to live on the Central Coast and have access to such a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and meats. Pairing them with the complex spices and cooking techniques of Sichuan is an absolute joy.
